During harsh winter the ony way for locals of Zanskar to commute is through the walk over frozen river, Chader means " the Frozen Blanket ". During peak winters all the roads & High passes are closed in remote valley & from ages this forzen route is the traditional trade route for locals. this trek is only possible in winter when the Zanskar river is frozen & acts like a highway for people to walk on. The temprature durig trek could drop down to -20 degrees. This trip starts from a Capital town " Leh " from where we drive to Chilling. From where this trek starts Its a ultimate challange of walking through frogen Gorges of remote Zanskar valley.

Sample program :

Day 1. Pick up leh Airport and trafer to Hotel.Rest for the day full to acclimataition. O/N Hotel

Day 2nd. Local Sightseeing around leh like Spituk Monestry and leh palace samkar Monastery.O/n Hotel

Day 3rd. Early Morning drive from leh to Chlling. o/ n Chilling on the way we will visit Phayang Monastery , and confluence of Zansker River and Indus River..

Day 4th. Start trek for 5 to 6 hr from chilling To Tilad Sumdo O/N stay in cave or Camp

Day 5th. Early Morning trek for 6-7 hrs from Tilad sumdo To Dhar kongma. O/N Camp

Day 6th. Trek from Dhar Kongma To Palder Tsomo (7-8 hrs ) O/N at Cave/Camp

Day 7th. Trek from Palder Tsomo To Neyrak Pullu ( 8-9 hrs ) O/N at Camp/

Day 8th. Nyrak Pullu To Lingshed Monastery. This is only optional . Visit Monastery and come back to camp.O/N cave / camps

Day 9th. Trek for 7 hrs from Dip Yokma to Hamour village. O/n at Room ( Its a motorable road )

Days 10th. Trek from Hamor To Pishu village . O/N rooms

Days 11th. Pishu to Padum . same day we will visit some monastery around Padum , Pipiting Ghuru.
Monastery and Sani kanika KHAR.

Day 12th. Full days rest .

Days13th. Drive back to Zang la. Start trekking. Retour it will take 4 days from Zang la To Chilling.We can pick up from Chilling back to Leh.

End of the Tour.
